Jam Gadang, Bukittinggi

The Gadang hour was the high tower building soared in a grand manner, have a roof typical Minangkabau, was located in the middle of the Bukittinggi city. The Gadang hour to landmark and the Bukittinggi coat-of-arms, was built on the hill that was named the Kandang Kerbau Hill in the Government's Dutch time in 1827 by Contraleur (the Secretary of the City) Rook Maker.
